Odd pair and not getting a fair solution to it

Good day My husband bought me a sneakers from eastgate total sports on black Friday last year ..as he was on a black Friday shopping like everyone else..so I didn't wear the shoes sametime.plus it was summer.apparently i started wearing the shoes in beginning of winter this year it was around may ...then I started realizing that the left side is pinching it's not comfortable..when I check them i realised it was an odd pair ..it was a 4 and 5 of which it was supposed to be a size 5..immediately i went to the nearest total sports..they called the branch were the sneakers were bought..then it was confirmed that the branch had an odd pair on the same sneaker so they asked them to keep it aside for me.off which I thought I would go and exchange. But now that branch it's in gauteng and I'm in mpumalanga I don't have the cost to cover that trip..so I went to highland mews branch on the 4 /07/2019 they called the branch apparently now they say they don't have the sneaker anymore.and all I was asking from them is to send the sneaker to highland mews total sports branch. Now I want my money the store manager refuses to give me my money back..she says I must go to eastgate mall for that were I bought the shoes from..for me it's not fair it's the same company..its not my fault that they sold me an odd pair I did not agree into buying an odd pair. Instead of giving me my money they offer a gift card for tfg store I don't want that..
