Getting a refund for failing to pay laybye in time with total sports takes up to 6 months.

I did a laybye with total sports September 2019. During December I went back to cancel as I was failing to pay. The manager told me they will refund me once I get the message from my phone with a reference number. I got the message March 2020, the next day I went to collect my refund but the manager told me he will call me when his done with laybyes. What a long process of cancelling a laybye.
