Double listing after selling the account to DMC

I had an account and lost my job in 2020 prior to that i was on short time, accepted that they will handover my account, however found a new job contact them they told me my account was not with DMC which is fair, spoke to DMC to start paying off the outstanding amount and was accepted, But now i went to check my credit profile with Experian and found both DMC & TOTALSPORTS have listed me spoke to Experian to remove the Totalsports listing as they sold the account to DMC and was advised by Experian the accounts have two different numbers they cant assist. In short would like Totalsports to remove the listing as they have sold the account to DMC and DMC has me listed which I don't have a problem about but cant have two listings for the same thing.
