Dissatisfied Customer

So much for customer service ..

I visited a Totalsports store in Tzaneen on Tuesday 29/06/2021

As I entered I checked on the shelves for what I was looking for I did find what I was looking for but it was not in the right color I asked the lady I came across(who happened to be the store manager)if this style is available in black

She said she will check at the back A few minutes later she informs me that they are checking

After a while a gentleman comes to the front with the right size and color of what I'm looking for

I asked his permission to try it on,he said no problem After that I inform him it's correct and thank him and ask him if its possible to get a discount He gives me a price which I'm happy with I then ask him if I could call a friend who's looking for the same item and color He says no problem

He then heads back to the storeroom by the time I get back to him

As I cannot see him after that,I head to the pay counter

I asked the lady at the till for the guy and asked her to check for the size I'm looking for at the back

A Few minutes later she arrives and says no sizes available

I ask her to assist me with the payment , she scans the item and it shows a higher price than what it is marked for I tell her I'm not paying that price

She keeps insisting that's the price I have to pay because that's on the system as this is stock that was brought from the stockroom

I request to see the manager only to come to know that it was the lady that initially helped me

I explain to her the whole scenario and she tells me the same story as the cashier

I explain to her that how can I pay for this item that is marked lower on the price tag and priced higher on your system I also inform her of the price the gentlemen gave me initially when he brought the item

Eventually the manager decides to lower the price according to the price tag While being assisted by the manager the rude cashier keeps saying this is stock from the storeroom and you should be paying the price on the system

I wonder what happened to honesty and customer service

Very disgusted with the poor customer service from this store Totalsports Tzaneen Tzaneen mall

I guess it was my first and definitely my last visit to their stores and I would suggest others not to patronize their business either
