Bad service and dishonesty

To whom it may concern

Today i went to totalsport at Seshego circle centre and i wanted to laybye a sneaker for my daughter as i didn't have money to pay it cash and was scared when i come back next week the size wont be available.

As i approached the tills i was informed that if i want to laybye they going to charge extra R100 for the sneaker and that R100 is for the spray cleaner, and if i dont pay the extra R100 i wont be able to laybye the sneaker. I then told the guy who was assisting me that i dont want the spray cleaner and informed him there is no where under your terms and conditions stating that if a customer laybyes a sneaker, will be charged R100 extra.

The guy was so occupied with his tablet and manner in which he responded is like he dont give a **** if i laybye or not.

Where in your store/website are terms and conditions visible regarding laybyes?

What upsets me the most is that the guy in the store just said to me the R100 extra is part of the terms and conditions of which himself couldnt show me as a customer.

Are we being taken for a ride here?

Good day I haven't received a call till now. Yesterday i revisited the branch again, was going to pay account and still i asked regarding laybye and staff with no name badges still said they charge R100 extra for cleaning spray so i asked him a simple question "if i want to laybye trackpants am i being charge R100 extra and he said yes and i asked for what and he rep**** saying for sneaker cleaning spray" when i wanted to reason with him he told me even Johannesburg stores do that, he couldnt even give me a proper answer. This really raised my eyebrows. I am failing to really understand how does the total sport laybye works. He told me that the area manager is Nompinki and she is unavailable. Unfortunately i am not that kind of customer who will just let it go especially with this kind of treatment.
