Bad bad service at Totalsports Hammanskraal

On Saturday I went to Total Sports Jubilee Mall Hammanskraal branch to pay for my account with a voucher that I got from work (INERVATION REWARDS VOUCHER).

The constant name SANAH who was assisting me swiped my account card and the voucher card after. The machine indicated to her “ Enter the last 4 digits of the card” and then she refused she gave me the card back saying if she entered the numbers then it will be classified as *****.

I was bemused and amazed at the same time. The card clearly indicates that the card can be used at any of your shops including others but she was adamant that it “ is impossible “ I requested her to call customer service then she called for about an hour with nothing fruitful happening until I gave up.

So I am sitting here wondering is that 1. Bad customer service 2. Ignorance of the consultants 3 lack of knowledge????

How can a consultant say something like that to a customer it’s either she is misrepresenting the company or your consultants do not receive adequate training. I am frustrated and I need answers
