Sweet Chilly Chips Expired by 1 month for sale

I made a stop by Petroport Mosselbay, Purchased a bottle of water , chewing gun and Sweet Chilly Chips. The chips happen not to taste good and that made me check their expiry date, only to find that they are 1 month expired. Because i had already pulled away from the garage , i decided to call the garage to inform them about this expired item. All i was told was \please bring the chips back with the receipt".
