Rude, possibly ****** owner at Total Richwood, Cape Town

As a generally satisfied customer of Total garages i was extremely appalled by the stinking attitude of a so called owner at Total in Richwood, Cape Town. My wife and i met an acquaintance at the Total to have a short meeting. The reason we met there was that we were all on our way home at around 6pm and he and his family stopped there to buy food at the Steers. The acquaintance drives a tipper truck so we were all parked out of the way with his FAW truck, his wife's Mitsubishi van and my Ford Ranger bakkie. We parked before entering the car wash as the car wash was closed and there is good space there. As we were chatting outside the truck, a Mercedes van with 2 occupants pulls up next to us and the man driving asks "is daar n probleem?" , with a very bad attitude. My wife refers him to our acquaintance and he answers "Nee daar is niks probleem nie, ons hou net gou n' meeting" to which the man replies "Ya, ek vra maar. Ek is die eienaar en ek vra of daar n' probleem is. Ek is die eienaar van die steers?", to which our aqcuaintance again says "Nee daar is niks probleem nie, ons vag ook vir ons kos by Steers". The man then drives off to park in front of the Steers while muttering under his breath. We were all taken aback by his attitude and felt we were not welcome there. After leaving there our acquaintance went into Steers to get his food and confront the owner about his attitude but he was not willing to show up or comment. The manager then advised that trucks are not allowed on their premises. There was no signage there to say no trucks allowed. The incident feels like a ****** issue as we are decent people. We are all coloured and the owner an afrikaans white male. I really did not expect that at a Total garage as we often use the Total garage on Koeberg Road which always gives great service whether by truck, bakkie or car. Only a sincere apology from that owner regarding his attitude will will change my mind about my ****** concerns at that specific fuel station.
