Inhumane Treatment

My fuel tank was low, so at about 21h00 I decided to drive to the garage to fill up to avoid delays in the morning, Unfortunately my car just flat ran out of fuel along the way, As the car was on the street and blocking traffic, I rolled it and parked it as far off road as possible, I took a bottle container and walked to the Total Fuel Station in East London, This was about a 3km walk and i finally got there eventually without any scratches, I couldnt see any attendants outside nor in the room they normally seat in, so i went into the shop/kiosk As I walked to the station into the shop and greeted one of the attendants, She replies by asking if my container is a tin container, and that she will not sell me any fuel, I explain that my car is stuck, she persists and says she is not going to sell, I should find another fuel station, I thanked her and had to walk further to a Caltex station which was empathetic and efficient in getting me sorted, My issue is not so much that they refused to sell fuel in terms of their rules, that it fine, But the rude and callous manner by which they treated me when I was in a bind means I will always drive further to Caltex and will never ever bother with the Total station after this, The staff could have easily explained their policy and recommended the closest station
