Contaminated fuel poured into my car and no assistance whatsoever from owner (Greylin person)

Pour R200 fuel in the morning on empty tank at TOTAL N4 filling station on wednesday 1 Nov 2017 and was stuck within 200m or so from the station with no power and white fumes from the car. Got a tow truck and towed the car to Witbank McCarthy VW. On explaining to the VW personnel they outrightly pointed to contaminated fuel. Went back to the station an hour later to report the incident and i was told to report to the owner of the fuel station Mr Greylin. Sent my wife later to him to report the incident. She was told she wont be helped without a slip. I went to the garage later and reported the matter to the owner and was told to fill in a form and they will revert to me. Friday same week VW gave me a repair bill of R23k for injectors replacement and flush of system of foreign fuel in the system (diesel). VW gave me a sample of the fuel which i took to the garage and asked if they would not want a sample as part of their investigation. I was told the Owner was busy and will revert to me later. Entire day went by without any call. I reported to TOTAL thinking they would have some tooth to address the matter but was disappointed. It appears TOTAL has no control over their franchisees. TOTAL could not get him to do anything basically the TOTAL lady helping me sounded helpless. In her last words "I TRIED". Thus far nothing heard from the petrol station with me having been there already on numerous occasions. This is bad customer service at its best. I have been pouring petrol at the same station for a good 10 years. Attendants there know me well.
