BAD EXPERIENCE WITTH TRA UBER BOOKING

I had an unfortunate experience with Ms. Adrie Delport at GAP Total Risk Administrators (TRA).

As a 75-year-old who isn’t very tech-savvy, I needed assistance booking an Uber ride. Instead of using the TRA App, (which I was totally unfami**** with and had never used before), I emailed TRA company Info to request a ride.

Ms. Delport contacted me with an unfriendly tone, insisting that I "do it myself" but unfortunately neglected to explain that I needed to use the TRA App, assuming I already knew to use the App. This oversight led to a frustrating exchange filled with misunderstandings, leaving me confused and disheartened. When I tried to seek further assistance on the TRA website, I was met with a BOT, which only added to my frustration but I did manage to complain about bad service.

The next day, Ms. Delport did follow up with an apology, provided the Uber contact number, and ensured my Uber rides were arranged to my satisfaction.

I believe service providers need to consider that many clients, especially elderly ones, may find technology challenging. Had Ms. Delport initially guided me on using the TRA App and explained the steps, it would have spared me much frustration and anxiety. A bit of patience and clear communication would go a long way in improving customer experiences, especially for those less fami**** with technology.

Good Day Sylvia. We take our customer experience very seriously and this is not the level that the majority of our policyholders are used to. Please be assured that we are investigating this matter and will give you feedback as soon as we can. Regards. TRA Management

Best regards,
