Starsat Mistreating Subscribers...
I have been a Starsat Subscriber since its inception as "TopTv". HOWEVER thru the years they have had so many problems with reception etc yet many stayed loyal... One of the main reasons for this they still had good channels that were worth watching and cheaper than Dstv. Yet over the past year more and more channels have just been taken away, and always the channels that actually were the reason people joined Starsat. Yet our Subscription pricing stayed the same even though we have had less channels to watch. Movie channels, Series Channels etc have just been taken off and we are promised that they will be replaced with new and better content to no avail.... A month ago channels were once again removed, and we were warned a few days before hand. Fox, Fox Life, NationaI Geographic channels amongst others just dissapeared without warning. I have asked them and was assured that that this was just a technical error and the channels have returned for view and that they will remain and will not be removed... I still have the messages to prove this. Yesterday 1st October these channels have all dissapeared again. I phoned them and was told that the channels have now simply been removed. Once again promises are made that they will add new content... As subscribers we mostly joined for the Fox and National Geographic channel. Paid our full subscription and without warning these channels are just removed. I want to warn future subscribers to Starsat do not waste your money... There are no channels woth watching and the channel list just gets smaller wit no good content... Mostly Novella and 1 movie Channel with movies as old as time constantly replaying... Starsat provides poor service, cancel channels without warning... Advertised new series that will start on Fox and just take away the channel for instance... They keep promising new content, new channels, new movies... But it never happens. I want to urge current subscribers to cancell their subscription.. We as the consumer have been taken for a ride long enough...
