Faulty \upgraded"decoders"""

I am a client of 4 years. On 15.08.2015 received a message from Starsat saying that we may collect the upgraded decoder from nearest House & Home, as existing ones are being phased out. Collected new decoder on 16.08.2015 and called the call centre and spoke to Mutsami at 13:36am. After half hour the new decoder would not switch on. I left it for about 45mins and then called back at 14:39am. Mutsami suggested that decoder could be faulty and we must exchange for another decoder. Back to Eastgate House and Home on 17.08.2015. Phoned Mutsami at 10:12am and went through procedure again, with no joy. He advised that he would speak to his supervisor and call back. He phoned back to advise that they are aware that decoders at Eastgate and Pretoria branches are faulty, and I must call an installer to assist. Provided me a number where the installer is in Durban for the week. Called back at 12:17am and got a number for Roger ***) who chargers R400 for call out! The old decoder has been switched off and they advise they cannot connect. After R200 on calls and petrol going back and forth, still not resolved. Surely if faulty decoders they should recall stock and re-issue new ones?!
