Extremely disappointing experience with Toptronic Electrical. We hired them to disconnect, move, and reconnect inverters and batteries - a straightforward job that turned into a costly ordeal. Punctuality was a problem from the start. Prince was over an hour late to the initial meeting, only informing us last minute, once already late, that he wouldn't be attending and was sending a staff member instead. This pattern continued, with 3+ hour delays to every subsequent appointment. He is nearly impossible to reach by phone throughout. The work was left incomplete. After moving the inverters, Prince claimed two batteries were no longer working and requested 80% of the full fee, saying the job was "95% complete." We paid 50% in good faith. A final handover was scheduled for the following day - he didn't show up and has ignored calls ever since. We brought in a second company to assess the work. Their findings: the batteries Prince said were not working are in fact fully functional. More critically, the assessment confirmed that Toptronic did not have the knowledge or competency to complete the job - they attempted it, realised they were out of their depth, and walked off the site. We are left with an unfinished job, out of pocket, and with a contractor who misrepresented both the work done and the condition of our equipment. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
