TOPMED medical aid Pay-out CT SCAN rip-off

<p>My wife had to do a CT scan at East RAD Moreleta Park. According to the Topmed savings plan I need to pay a co-payment of R2500-00</p> <p>This I copied out of their brochure:</p> <p>RADIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY<br /> Basic radiology and pathology - 100% of Cost payable from Savings</p> <p>MRI scans, CT scans, radioisotope studies (PAR required) 100% of TT subject to a R2 500<br /> co-payment per scan</p> <p>On receiving the account from East Rad the outstanding balance is R 3697.50 </p> <p>Deduct the R 2500-00 co-payment that I must do the outstanding balance is R 1697.50</p> <p>East RAD did bill to 100% of TT</p> <p>I should only be liable for the R2500-00 co-payment.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
