This medical aid scheme requires proof of income every year. If no proof of income is submitted, the monthly premiums automatically go up to the highest premium on that plan.

Every year I go through the hassle of submitting my mothers proof of income after a sudden increase in cost, even though we NEVER get a reminder from Topmed that it is due, it takes months for them to change the premium back down to the normal rate, no confirmation of receipt is ever given and Topmed don't even refund you the difference for the extra money they took despite the fact that the proof of income was submitted and the admin team did nothing about it .
