SHOCKING
After a HUGE struggle in the past 3 months, my medical condition is registered with TOPMEDS chronic medication division. My pills are approved BUT as expected for this medical aid, I go to collect my medication from pharmacist this morning and and guess what?? No frikken surprise?!?. Once again issues. I need now once again phone all over again and get this matter sorted with the WORST medical aid ever. Easy to take you money every month, ALWAYS issues giving you your so called benefits. If my employer did not force me to belong to you, I would never in my right mind choose TOPMED. Get this matter sorted out (once again) I am waiting and done always having to phone, get an apology and then only the matter is sorted EVENTUALLY. I am done with you ALWAYS wasting my time!
As discussed telephonically, doctor has increased the dosage of your medication.
We did not receive an updated script, hence when you tried to claim the increased dosage of medication it rejected.
It is very important that TopMed Medical Scheme is informed of any changes in your medication in order for us to authorisation accordingly. If medication is not authorised you won't be able to claim for Chronic medication.
You are also only allowed to collect monthly Chronic medication once every 23 days. You tried to collect your Chronic medication on day 22, hence it rejected as an early refill.
We have contacted your pharmacy and obtained a copy of the new script for authorisation and will notify you directly once this has been authorised for you to collect your medication.
Kind regards
