Resigened Four MonthsWaiting for Payout of Savings
I have a positive savings balance of over R25,000.00 that needs to be paid out after 4 months as I resigned from Topmed on 31 March 2015. Four months expired at the end of July 2015. When I phoned to query when this matter will be settled I was told I will need to wait another 2 weeks. This is typical attitude when a big organisation owes people money, which is in total in contrast to when they are owed money. Why is my payout dependent on Topmeds own internal accounting systems and why do these system always benefit Topmed. Surely they could have resolved this matter over the last four months.

As per our member guide, the refund of your savings balance is done at four and half months from your termination date. Hence your savings payout is due in the middle of August.
Please note that as per our Scheme rules we are obliged to pay any claims that are submitted within 4 months from the treatment date, hence the process for only releasing your savings after 4.5 months of your termination date.
