No Payment while in hospital

I was hospitalized for 12 days in Bloemfontein. I got depression/anxiety because of my low kidney function and was taken up in Bloem-care. The treating doctor asked a neurologist and a physician about my condition and they asked my doctor to do a sonar and blood tests and then they would look at them. The first test came back as 50% kidney function. After consulting with the neurologist and a physician, they asked to repeat some of the tests. Because I live in Cape Town, the doctor said they would send all the results to my neurologist and a physician in Cape Town to follow up. Topmed did NOT pay for the Sonar – it was paid from my savings plan. They also did not pay for the blood tests and I now sit with unpaid bills. I asked them about this and here is the answer I received:

So, what they are saying here is, if you are in a Psychiatric hospital with a clinically inappropriate problem, you must die, because they don’t care at all! Even if the one links to the other?
