My hospital bill was declined

I woke up with a sore throat and thought it was a cold that will go away, little did I know it would get worse as the week progressed. I could not swallow anything, I then decided to go to medi clinic got checked out and the dr on duty told me they where going to admit me because I had tonsillitis. My medical aid refused to give authorization before conducting an investigation. The hospital admitted me anyway because I could not even swallow my own saliva. A week later I got a phone call from the hospital telling me that my bill has been declined I asked them to give me a chance to speak to my medical aid. I sent numerous of emails asking them to contact me and explain why my bill was not paid. I'm being told to contact this department and that department I'm fed up!!! I'm the main member and I'm the only 1 on this medical aid and I pay almos 2000 I can't afford to pay medical aid and hospital bills at the same time. I did not even remove the tonsils. I have been on this medical aid since August or so. Someone please help me
