Black hole of Topmed

Appalling. told I need on Monday a prostate biopsy on Friday. Got quotes from surgeon and anaesthetist and sent them to Topmed on Tuesday. On Wednesday Mediclinic at Paarl, the operating hospital, told me that Topmed had no record of receiving these quotes. They found them later.. Lots of e-mails to Topmed, NO answers, just automated response. Their automated telephone system failed as well, and promises to phone me back were not kept. Then, 18 hours before the op, it was authorised after I got someone of the phone, but then they told me that the anaesthetist was not approved, so i would have to pay the R2000+ myself. Or grip a piece of wood between my teeth and bear the pain. So their e-mail system is faulty, their phone system does not work, and they do NOT keep promises or feedback to their customers. Your thoughts?
