Beyond shocked, completely *******
<p>After waiting 3 months I decided I need to change medical aids because the ActiveSaver has endless exclusions and they don't cover the important things. </p> <p> </p> <p>After sending my resignation letter countless times I recieved a notification that my membership was cancelled and I need to pay my premium for the month of August which is ok. But I'm now told I owe R2,685. Premiums plus R2, 685 for advanced savings

On the Active Saver your savings is calculated and given to you in advance, when your monthly premium is paid, a portion of that premium is allocated to the savings that was given to you in advance. The amount of R2676 which is due is for your August premiums, the additional amount of R2148 is for savings you have used but not yet paid for.
