BENEFITS SUSPENDED FOR R2.00!!!!!!! COMPLETE JOKE!!!!!!!!!!

<p>This is the most absurd thing I have ever come across!</p> <p>Got an SMS form Topmed this morning stating that my benefits have been suspended for R2.00??????</p> <p>Okay I gotta admit the fees have gone up and instead of paying the R2012.00, I paid R2010.00 so sorry i forgot the huge TWO RAND to be paid ( I pay EFT BEFORE the end of each month, to make sure the medical aid is paid for before a debit order goes off as I have a 1 year old son which can't afford to not have a medical aid!)</p> <p>When i phoned Topmed the first time this morning, I was told I have R2012.00 outstanding for January which is a whole lotta BULL**** cos I have proof of my EFT I made the 28th of December for January........ (But just to prove to you that the consultant doesn't even know what she was doing - I received an emailed letter as well from Topmed this morning stating i'm R2.00 in arrears........ so if im not mistaking, if I was R2012 in arrears as per the consultant, should it not be R2014.00 I owe Topmed and if I was in arrears for January, wouldn't my benefits be suspended since the start of January?? and that after I have visited the doctor on the 1st and 3rd of Feb?? Funny enough it went through on the medical aid??)</p> <p>Oh and while i was holding for the consultant I was kindly cut off as well as she was waiting for the billing department.</p> <p>SOO i phoned the second time, which the consultant (Thanisele) was very helpful in trying to assist me to at least re-instate my medical aid, because suspending it for R2.00 is a complete joke!! So now I wait for the billing department to SOMEDAY answer the phone and tell me what can be done, beacause even the lovely consultant who tried to assist me can't seem to get hold of them.</p> <p> I mean Topmed could just have phoned me and said: " ma'am we see that you made an eft on the 27th for R2010 and your contribution is R2012. Would it be possible just to make an eft at the end of Feb for R2014 and then we won't suspend your medical aid for R2.00??"</p> <p> </p> <p>I really find this type of service unacceptable as an arrangement could have been made to for the R2.00.</p> <p>Hopefully i will receive a reply as soon as possible regarding this issue as I find it is an enormous joke!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Kind regards</p> <p>Chanelle Coetzee</p> <p>Membership number: ********** 85</p>
