The customer knows nothing at Top Kutts

I have curly hair. I have spent over a year trying to grow said curly hair out after most of it was cut off. I went to Top Kutts explaining to them that I would like my hair to be TRIMMED/SHAPED curly and dry, as this is how I have become accustomed to styling it - naturally. I was reassured that that would be no problem. After arriving for my appointment and waiting an additional 20-30 minutes, the stylist did not even bother to do a consultation or observe the current state of my hair. Needless to say, m hair was quickly washed and when it came time to trim, she cut it soaking wet, and did not listen or look at what was being requested. All the healthy hair that I had spent over a year growing out was chopped off - for no reason! And then the attempt was made to blow dry my hair straight! I currently have so little hair on my head that I am forced to heat style and struggle to do so. The overall hairstyle is tremendously disliked due to the copious amount of layering. This, coupled with having to listen to staff bicker about being overbooked and having to attend to two other clients during my booked slot, made for a terrible experience that left me in tears after leaving. To top everything off, the stylist was the same one who did my "big chop" over a year prior. As the customer I felt not listened too and, honestly, violated to some degree, especially after I left receiving funny looks because I refused heat styling. Would not recommend this facility to anyone with curly hair. I will also never return.
