Poor Workmanship, Poor Service and Poor Refund Policy

We had our 2 side canopy windows replaced with this company's Krugersdorp branch. The job they did was rather poor, with both replacements rattling and the metal clips that latch the windows closed not functioning properly. They also damaged the vehicle paint work while fitting the canopy back on.

5 Months later (within the claimed warranty period of the job) while travelling a gravel road the one side window fell out completely, frame and glass and all. On inspection the holes drilled to attach the frame to the fiberglass were too big for the *****s used, hence the rattling and eventual falling out (the guy who did the work confirmed this for us).

After many back and forth conversations with Mr Morris, the boss, we returned to the yard for the missing window to be replaced. He was not there at the pre-arranged time, and did not have the right window ready for us. After many more conversations and 2 hours later he arrived with a dust-covered, dark-tinted window to replace the missing clear-glass one. We agreed to have it fitted. Upon inspection of the final result we opened the window only to discover it did not fit in the frame properly and "see-sawed" as it opened. The fitment guy confirmed it would be an issue but upon calling his boss to inspect it, we all discovered Mr Morris had once again taken his leave from the premises.

Again, many phone conversations with Mr Morris later we decided to leave all the frames and glass from Top Cap Canopies with them and requested a full refund as the job could obviously not be completed properly. We completed and received a copy of the refund form. Despite us showing Mr Morris the rattling issue of the remaining window he claimed it was in working order. Upon removal of said window, the fitment staff again showed us the too-large holes that had been drilled. Mr Morris received all his products back but he decided to only refund us for the window that fell out due to his perception of the other window having been in good working order.

Not a company I would ever deal with again.
