So disappointed!!
We get Toni's at-least once a week, I always order the chicken salad but every now and again I treat myself to a pizza. I despise pizzas that's basically just cheese- hence our love for Toni's! <br> <br> I ordered the Provolone pizza, which is supposed to have provolone and Gorgonzola instead of mozzarella. After picking up our pizza take away, I found that my pizza was packed with mozzarella and hardly anything else. I returned it, and was promised a new pizza with the right toppings. Unfortunately, when i got my \new\" pizza, they just slapped on some more mozzarella and Gorgonzola - making the pizza heavy, oily, salty and way way too cheesy. There was no lemon zest, as indicated on the menu, to try to cut through all the oily cheese. I have ordered this pizza before, at Rietondale branch though, so I know that its supposed to be a super light, fresh, tasty pizza. <br> <br> I am honestly so disappointed, it was a complete waste of money and kilojoules !! Shame on you Toni's! Follow the original recipes or you can just as well become a Romans franchise!!"
I would like to start off by saying that we take all complaints very seriously and will always go out of our way to appease any customer that is not happy with our product or service. Every pizza that leaves the pass is checked by a manager, this however does not mean that mistakes do not happen. We were happy to make you another pizza and made sure the second time round that the pizza was as perfect as we could make it. You ordered a half and half pizza. One half Provolone the other a Spinaci. Provolone is unfortunately an oily cheese and we put on enough because we have had other instances where customers say we're skimping on toppings. We realise that we cannot make everyone happy and we're sorry you were disappointed with our pizza. We would have been happy to accommodate your request for less cheese if you had just asked us too. Hellopeter cannot make the pizza the way you like it but we'll like to try to continually improve our customer service and offering if you will just allow us too.
