TomTom strap keeps breaking

I bought a TomTom Touch Cardio in the beginning of the year and since then the fitness tracker strap has broken TWICE! This is ridiculous as I take good care of this tracker but it still breaks. I can't keep spending +-R300 every 5 months to buy a new strap. Very disappointed. Won't ever buy a TomTom product again and won't recommend it to anyone.
