tom tom gps had enough now

<p>got a tom tom gps.had problems with the charging.they collected it and sent me a new one.when it switches on it says its 42 months old and needs to be updated.this was the same day i got it from tom tom as new.now 8 months later it keeps on saying searching for valid gps signal.i can drive all the way to my destination with this still searching.drove approximatly 40km with it still searching.looks like i must go back to Garmin.recognised gps unit.</p>
