Poor quality, poor service.

I bought two Runner 2 Cardio watches which currently still retail for around R4300 about two years ago. Both my boyfriend and I are light users and exercise on occasion but have since had three straps each break on us. The first strap was replaced by Tom Tom but after that they refused to aknowledge that there was an issue with the straps. I could understand if it was only mine or if I was an iron man level user of this watch but this is light use.

Also, the battery is unreliable and has been defective.

When you buy a high end product you expect it to perform. The only conclusion is that they purposefully make these straps weak so that people will have to continuously purchase them and at R600 each it’s no small scheme.

I loved my watch when I first got it and I find the software great but I will never in good conscience recommend this product to anybody. In comparison to friends who have Garmins or fitbits who never have issues this has been nothing but a money pit.
