no map error on go live 820

I bought a TomTom (go live 820) GPS some time ago and was quite happy with it, however the live traffic / safe camera service was due for an update in May/Jun2015. I bought the service and when I activated it or uploaded it, the device returned a NO MAP ERROR. Unfortunately I could not fixed it immediately, but I was not too worried because I saw that there were suggestions on the internet to fix it. I also tried to call, but TomTom only work office hours. At the time I was still not concern, because I though TomTom is a legitimate company and I wanted the service and I was sure we will get it fixed.

Now, after a few months the GPS is still not working, sick and tired to find my way with my mobile phone I decided to drive this to conclusion. After spending at least 2 hours on the phone (***) today, the conclusion was my TomTom is (now?) faulty and I won't get a refund for the service not used, because I waited to long.

I'm not a happy customer, I want a refund for the service not used, not a discount on the next TomTom purchase - with this support from TomTom I will never buy a TomTom GPS again!

Regards
Roelf de Beer
