Poor service from Tombstone SA
I am writing this email with a heavy heart. Last week Monday (25/05/2026) I went to Tombstone SA (Mount Frere) branch to purchase a tombstone for my late aunt and I paid for it. I was told that I should expect delivery on Friday the 29th of May. I was happy because the funeral was going to be the following day, the 30th of May. Friday morning, the truck came with the tombstone but there were pieces missing and I was told that they were mistakenly loaded on a wrong truck that was going to Engcobo but the truck will be going back to KZN the same day and will pass Mount Frere early hours on Saturday. We made an arrangement that they will call me when the truck was closer to Mount Frere so that we could meet them in town and get the missing pieces. I waited for the call until I decided to contact them myself around 01:00 on Saturday morning and no one was picking up the calls up to this day. We had already organised the church and Reverend to do the unveiling. I have suffered costs I cannot even explain. I am very disappointed and angry at the same time with this company. The inconvenience and the costs.
