Work not finished and no refund made

Don't make use of this business. I've taken four curtains for shortening. They called me saying that the work has been finished. Upon getting it from them, they’ve asked for cash. When home, I found that only two curtains were shortened according to the measurements. Another one was longer, and they didn’t touch the last one. My husband phoned them, and they agreed to pay half the money back into his bank account. After a month, no payment was made, only promises.
