*********** Service
Originally I visited Tokai computers to see if they did electronic repairs and was told they do, so I dropped off a brand new laminator which I had damaged due to using a higher voltage 220V instead of 110V {US}....Tokai Computers advised that the transformer had burnt out so they replaced it with a 220V transformer....when I collected the laminator I was assured that everything was sorted out....I took it back to the office switched on the machine and after a few minutes there was a loud pop and it smelled like something had burnt out....this turned out to be the motor which was a 110V motor which was being supp**** 220V....Surely a competent electronics specialist would have indentified this as a problem when doing the repair ?

Anyway I had to import a new motor {220V} and connected it up to the repaired PC board only to find that the motor was not turning smoothly but when I connected it to another laminator it ran smoothly...I took it back to Tokai Computers who told me to come back in a few days...a month later they had still not sorted out the problem..I demanded my machine back only to discover that they had lost a part for the machine...AVOID THESE *********** AMATEURS.
