DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER
I took my pc in on 2 February to be assessed as it was tripping my plugs at home and at the office. I received a call from Zain to say that he needed to replace the DC Block. He then said that while he did that he would service the machine. The fee would be R550. In good faith I agreed. I went back the next day and collected the pc. However it was still tripping my plugs despite the repair. I phoned Zain to report this and he agreed I could bring it back to be looked at again. In the interim, I decided to check the power cable and found that when it was plugged in on its own, the plugs still tripped. So I replaced the power cable and hey presto! The computer is working. I phoned Zain today to request a refund as I had solved my own problem (there is no evidence to suggest that I needed a replacement DC block or service in the first instance. I took their word for it) . So I did not get what I asked for. I got a DC block and a service instead. Management is now refusing to refund me. they say that the pc was in working order and not tripping their plugs when it left their shop. That is not my problem. I feel like I have been fleeced.
