Togs Dressmaking - Appalling service

I’m very disgusted and disappointed with the service delivered by Tracy at Togs dressmaking in Westville, Durban. I gave her a R13000 evening dress to alter and change the sleeves. Her 1st impression was that she knew what do and will not spoil the dress so I trusted that she would take care of my garment and handle with care. I was clearly wrong about her and her sewing abilities: Her sewing was untidy with the 1st sleeve and it did not look elegant at all so I had asked her to change it. I provided her with a picture to look at for the 2nd sleeve. When I went to pick up the dress there were several things wrong with the dress which was not there when I went for a fitting: she had stained the sleeves with something black, she tore the net of the dress which cannot be repaired, she sewed two buttons instead of 3, as I’d asked her to from the previous fitting and now the dress looks as if it’s been home sewn. As a dressmaker u need to be neat and tidy with your sewing and her sewing was not overlocked to show a good finish. Her service to us as a customer was appalling. She was always too busy and didn’t give us time whenever we went for our appointment. With all the mistakes that she had done, she did not once apologise or compensate us for the damage caused. She wanted the full payment that she told us initially with no remorse. I would not recommend anyone to take their sewing to her.
