2 years ago we moved into a new house that had been built by Todo Construction. We were not 100% happy with the PVC laminate floor that was installed in the kitchen, it was not even to walk on and has subsequently cracked and lifted to the point that it needs to be replaced. We did notify Todo about this shortly after we moved in and were told that it was because we had put too much water on the floor. On removing the old laminate, which was incorrectly installed according to the flooring expert who is redoing the floor, it was noted that the laminated has been laid straight onto concrete and that no self-levelling screed had been app****. This is an unnecessary and unbudgeted expense for us and should never have happened, in our previous home we had laminate in the kitchen for over 13 years, it was installed correctly and never broke or cracked. I would like to urge anyone who is considering using this company to build a home to please do your homework thoroughly before committing and if you do decide to go ahead with them monitor every single step to avoid the issues that ourselves and many other home owners have had.
