Today sausage rolls disgusting filling

I purchased today sausage rolls after a long time. I was really disappointed. The instructions say to bake it at 220 degrees for 25 minutes. I did this but I found that the bottom of the pastry burnt really quick but the actual pastry was not cooked. The worst part was the filling.it was digusting and I just couldn't eat it. The filling had a funny smell and tasted horrible. Please improve on your filling. I will not purchase another box ever again.
