Bitter sweet ending

We have over the past 5 years used TJ Tree Felling on 4 occasions. Unfortunately the last 2 were met with some disappointment. <br> <br> Second last encounter all trees that were to be removed were clearly marked, unfortunately these instructions were not followed and an established health lemon tree was destroyed...<br> <br> In our most recent encounter we negotiated a price to do the work. Upon request to do a few additional things, Chris from TJ Tree Felling increased the price by over 50%! We agreed, as half the work had already been done. But our agreement was that the cut wood would be split for fire wood. He guaranteed that this will be done at the end of the job. <br> With many stories of him requiring the money to fix his bakkie, & to pay his guys, we paid him in full (R12'000) upon completion of the agreed work, bar the splitting of the wood to fire-place / braai size. <br> <br> Unfortunately since then he does not respond to any of our telephone calls, sms's nor WhatsApps...<br> <br> Although Chris & his team are friendly, efficient and (what I rate) do a good job, this type of attitude leaves a bitter taste, & hence we would not recommend using them, unless all work is checked and done before payment
