Charging for Services that I had to do and pay for
I am very dissapointed to say the least in Titleguard. I will NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone ever.

I was selling my car privately. The people buying my car was charged R3250.00 \admin/services fee\". When we queried this, we were told by the consultant that it is for getting me, the seller to do the relevant tests etc to make sure the car is in a good condition etc. Usually when you sell your car through a dealership, all of these tests are done and added to the cost of the car and then the buyer pays for it.

The utter ridiculous part, is that they emailed me a list of stuff I need to email them, including a technical test result and a roadworthy test result. These tests cost me almost R2000. That is literally all they did - email me.

So how can they then charge that amount of money? If they paid me back for the tests etc I would understand the admin fees or whatever. Both me and the buyer was fuming and queried this immediately but with no success.

We would have gone halfsies on the cost of the tests until we saw that he ALSO had to pay. To me that is lying and *****ing.

Unhappy is not even the word. I lost R2000 on my cars sale at the end of the day
"
Thank you for your time earlier.
As per our conversation, kindly note that the buyer is liable for the admin fees and you are only liable for the inspection fees.
