Watching out ceilings being destroyed while we wait

If I could give 0 stars i would! Owner keeps making promises to be here that he doesnt ever keep and is difficult to get ahold of most the time. He completed a successful job In the past so we thought it was safe to use him again, we were wrong. We paid our deposit 3 months ago and he has yet to fix and waterproof our roof as promised. The damage done to our ceilings and roof structure is massive due to leaks in the roof getting worse and worse (this during rainy season) and he keeps promising to show up but never does. Has yet to pay back the large deposit we paid so it's been very difficult saving once again to hire a contractor who is actually going to fix the problem.
