We used Titan Logistix Removals [Durban branch] to relocate our goods to Port Elizabeth. What should have been a straightforward move turned into a week-long ordeal. Our goods took seven days to arrive. My mother had a back operation some time ago and cannot sit for long periods. Our entire trip was carefully planned around stopping every 2 hours and sleeping over at each 4 to 5 hour leg of the journey. When Titan's vehicle broke down, we were cooperative and rearranged our plans around their failure without complaint. As a result, we ended up travelling 8 hours straight in one day — very hard on my mother — and missed our pre-booked overnight accommodation. We did not ask for any compensation. Via WhatsApp, Titan apologised, confirmed a replacement vehicle with an ETA of 5–6 PM, and explicitly asked me to share the accommodation invoice — assuring me their team would assist. I also received a call confirming they would settle the additional night. I shared the invoice from the guesthouse in Pretoria in good faith and personally assured the guesthouse owner that payment would be made. To date, no payment has been made. The guesthouse owner has confirmed the invoice remains fully outstanding. Despite multiple follow-up emails, Titan Removals has gone completely silent. I paid their invoice in full, but a small guesthouse that came to our rescue is now being left unpaid because Titan Removals refuses to honour their word. I have WhatsApp screenshots as proof of their commitment. This is not how any business should treat a paying customer.
