Product failure

I purchased a detroit industrial compressor 3 years ago, 1,5 years later compressor con rod broke,I purchased new engine from supplier, now 1.5 years later second new engine failure, was referred to a preferred supplier to look damage, damage cannot be blamed on maintenance or oil quality, oil used is from compressor company in my area, called supplier,Arthur makes excuses upon excuses as to failure via telephone, will not listen to technician, sent emails,still waiting for feedback, compressor of this model is meant to last estimate 10 Years.
