I am interested in subscribing to the Sunday Times and filled in the necessary forms. I was horrified that their \Quality Assurance"then insisted that I give them my banking details on the phone (despite my banking details having been completed on the initial signed form). Our banks and many consumer entities are continually warning against divulging bank details to unknown people on the phone.
