Sunday Times subscriptions

In December 2019, i requested the Sunday Times subscriptions to put my newspaper deliveries on hold for three Sundays because i was going away (i am cutting the long story short). To my surprise, when i got back after three weeks, all the papers were waiting for me. I wrote an email to complain, instead i was phoned by a woman from Cape Town, very arrogant. All that she wanted to convey without even apologizing was that she does not know why the delivery company kept on delivering my paper. It was a long-winded discussion to the extend that i asked why she phoned in the first place. In December 2020, i sent an email to the subscription section of the Sunday Times requesting them to put my papers on hold for three Sundays that i was going to be away. The same time that i sent an email to the Sunday Times, i sent one to City Press, the latter sent an email in response confirming that the papers will be put on hold as requested. In January 2020 City Press gave a discount for the 3 weeks that the papers were put on hold. Upon my arrival on 6 January 2021, all the 3x Sunday Times which were supposed to have been on hold were waiting for me. I do not know how to deal with this kind of behaviour from the Sunday Times subscription. I have dealt with them over the phone, i have dealt with them via the email and i am not winning. Julia Modise
