Sunday Times - Pathetic Service as usual

I recently put my Sunday Times subscription delivery on hold from 22 January 2017 as I was away from home. At the same time , I informed the call centre that delivery should resume on 5 February 2017. I double checked the dates with the consultant, as the consultant initially got the dates incorrect. Today, on 5 February 2017, I did not receive delivery. I contacted the call centre and spoke to Rodney Khoza. He informed me that the delivery hold on the system was till 11 February 2017. I told him that it was incorrect, and I would like him to contact the local distributor and arrange delivery to me. In a very unprofessional manner, he indicated to me that all he could do was inform the area manager of the error, but that I would not get delivery today. I insisted that it was unacceptable that no alternative arrangements are made when Times Media makes an error. I even received an sms confirming the correct delivery hold dates. After a 20 minute conversation with Rodney, I requested that he let me know of the delivery status before he leaves work today. He did not bother to contact me at all. Rodney seemed to lack any form of training in dealing with customer concerns , as he was most unprofessional .This clearly indicates to me that Times Media is *********** , inefficient and lacks customer service regarding the delivery of their newspapers. They are never able to rectify concerns when they do arise.

Times media consultants only have one standard response and don't bother taking any futher action. Their standard response is " it will be escalated to the area manager" . I guess they don't have any area managers, as none of my concerns in the last 15 years have been resolved properly.
