Subscribe and Receive Voucher for weekend away!

<p>I write this after being patient for almost a year! We subscribed to the Sunday Times newspaper after receiving a phone call informing us that if we subscribed we would receive a weekend away voucher at one of the Gooderson resorts. This sounded great, we paid for our subscription immediately and waited for the vouchers to the Drakensberg Gardens resort. There was some muddle with the vouchers which we accepted, we were dealing with Keshnee Gounden at the Durban office, she was very helpful and was trying to sort out the vouchers.Time went on, no vouchers and no Keshnee, were told she had left the Durban office! </p> <p>We were basically left high and dry, no follow up call or correspondence at all. </p> <p>I took it upon myself and discovered a call centre which I called, I received absolutely no assistance of any sort from anyone of the numerous people I spoke to regarding the vouchers. Eventually out of sheer frustration I demanded to speak to a superior person. I was put in touch with Joanne who I believe is a supervisor. Joanne has been the only person who has taken an interest and has tried to get to the bottom of the missing voucher story for us. Unfortunately she is basically the ham in the sandwhich as she also seemed to come up against a brick wall with no answers or promises and no feedback at all.</p> <p>I am not being unreasonable here, I doubt any other person would have waited so long before actually complaining as I am! </p> <p>We have had three changes of season, summer last year would have been ideal to getaway in the berg, we are now in winter and heaven forbid before we know it spring would have sprung and still no vouchers!</p> <p>We paid in full immediately for the delivery of the newspaper, why the wait for the vouchers.</p> <p>Am I the only one or is anyone else out there in the same situation?</p> <p> </p>
