Shockingly Bad Service

Time Freight - Cape Town Branch - has got to be the most useless, *********** & ************* company in South Africa. The parcel was collected in Upington on Wednesday, and was due for delivery in Cape Town on Thursday morning, as per the arranged overnight delivery (the contents were not supposed to out of a freezer for more than a day!). Here we are on Saturday morning, and still no parcel. I was promised that the delivery would be the first stop on the route on Friday morning, and we spent many hours on the phone for the rest of the day trying to find out where it was - was put on hold, having to listen to inane false statements about how good and efficient Time Freight is, and irrelevant snippets regarding who invented what, and when, and other bits of incomplete and irrelevant news. The excuse given for no delivery was that the driver could not find my address - twice! From a Courier Company??? Even though we had provided full address details, and a Google Map link. No-one (driver or depot) phoned for any further clarity regarding the delivery address (we had to phone them) - they rather left the area (if the delivery vehicle was even there is doubtful), with my parcel. The service is absolutely appalling, and I will most certainly never be using them again, and would not recommend them to anyone else. Time Freight Cape Town is a bottom feeder! I do like to give credit where credit is due - the Upington branch was efficient, helpful and courteous, even going to the extent of trying to contact the Cape Town depot on my behalf - thank you Upington.
