R60 000.00 VS R3000.00???

I purchased a Roland printer from Welkom and asked Time Freight to collect. The seller emphasised that it was fragile and asked the guys to please handle with extreme care. The machine was packaged with bubble wrap and boxed by the seller. Between Welkom and Estcourt, the machine had been dropped and after having the machine's damages assessed by a reputable agent, the damages were an estimated R37000.00 and Time Freight only want to pay out R3000.00 - How do they explain that? What about the loss of income we have suffered since 8 May 2015.
