Overpriced for Nothing - Back to using Dawn Wing

On Wednesday I phoned Time Freight and asked about their pricing on OVERNIGHT shipping from Pietermaritzburg to Cape Town, as a lady needed to send me something. They said that overnight shipping would be R270 for the lightest weight category. I also asked when to expect the delivery if it is sent on the next day (Thursday) and he said on Saturday. I asked him whether he is sure it will be on Saturday as couriers hardly work on weekends. He said that overnight shipments will be delivered even if its a Saturday.<br> <br> The lady who had to send my package had it sent on Thursday morning, also requested overnight delivery and the amount charged was R270 - same as above - thus I assumed it was for overnight as the person at the call centre mentioned.<br> <br> Today I phone Cape Town branch to make sure it is on its way to me and I get told that it will be at the depot tomorrow morning. So I asked how late to expect it and the lady says it will only be delivered on Monday except if I collect it myself EVEN THOUGH I PAY SHIPPING - a surcharge of R250 is asked for weekend delivery and my package isn't overnight?<br> <br> So exactly for what did I pay that amount - normal shipping? Dawn Wing asks around R50!
