Double Payment for parcel from Standerton to Georg

On the 6 May 2015 I took a cellphone to the Standerton Depot of Time Freight for it to be couriered to my mother-in law in George.<br> <br> The manager wrapped the cellphone in bubble wrap and placed it in a small carton box for me.<br> <br> He then went on the computer and registered the parcel's details. When I wanted to pay he said it was COD, I explained to him that I would like to pay for the courier cost as I am not sure that my family will have money with them when the parcel gets delivered in George. I then paid R251-90. I asked the manager if this would not create a problem and he said he will do an internal transfer.<br> <br> When my family went to collect the parcel in George they were told to pay R251-90 before they can have the parcel. When the George staff phoned Standerton the person in Standerton informed them that the parcel was not paid for.<br> <br> Tracking number V926048-0<br> <br> I am not happy with the service as it reflects badly on my integrity after I informed my family that I paid for the parcel.<br> <br> Please advise on how you are going to rectify this problem and to refund the double payment for the parcel.<br> <br>
